While the NRA does in fact provide some amount of money to political candidates, it does that every year, almost always to Republicans (because Democrats support gun control), and the money comes from Americans. Not Russians.

On the other hand, the same woman met with Obama administration officials during his administration.

The line between an agent of a foreign power (which requires a conspiracy to commit criminal acts of espionage or terrorism) and a friendly international visitor who agrees with your interest group on an issue and wants to coordinate efforts can be hard to see for people who don't have access to surveillance.
