PA court rules mail in voting law unconstitutional

Just The NewsThe Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania on Friday found the state's mail-in voting law unconstitutional.

The lawsuit was filed by Doug McLinko, vice chairman of the Bradford County Board of Commissioners in Pennsylvania. His argument was that he was unable to perform his duties as commissioner and certify the 2020 election because Pennsylvania's 2019 election reform law is unconstitutional.

I think this is more likely to change the rules for upcoming elections than the results from 2020, but if we are ever to have elections that are not dominated by cheating, we need to do just that. I'm willing to let the result of the 2020 presidential race go -- legally if not rhetorically -- so long as future elections are honest and the people who frauded in 2020 go to jai where they violated laws.

However, the court system and indeed the whole political system must clearly receive the message that fraud is unacceptable and must be stopped. Even if that means throwing people in jail and making a mess after the fraudsters have declared victory.
