A simple cure for COVID?

WATEDrugmaker Pfizer is currently testing a single pill cure for COVID-19, and if all goes well, the drug could be available this year.

The drug, called PF-07321332, is currently in a Phase One clinical trial with healthy adults.

According to the Telegraph, the protease inhibitor may be available as soon as this year.

The pill was unveiled at the American Chemical Society Spring 2021 meeting in early April. The drug works by targeting the main protease of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. By inhibiting the protease, the drug prevents the virus from reproducing itself within the body...

Protease inhibitors are currently used to treat HIV around the world.

If this is accurate, there's no need to push the questionable vaccinations.

It's that last sentence that bugs me. Fauci spent decades trying and failing to solve the HIV problem. That this application is coming from that field makes me wonder how he is involved and profiting from the situation.

And if you read closely, this doesn't read like a cure. It may prevent replication and thus major symptoms. But you'll have to buy it again and again each time you get the virus. (Assuming you even notice). Will it interfere with natural immunity developing?

Even with all of the above caveats, it's good to have options.
