On McCabe, there are high level meetings between McCabe's attorneys and Deputy AG Rosen and US Attorney Liu, which typically happen after lower level officials have refused to drop a case.
I do not see how the DOJ can expect to get any credit for reforming itself when it continues to decline and prosecute insiders despite referrals from the Inspector General for prosecution. At some point the prosecutions have to happen.
