Mueller claims Manafort lied after plea deal

Fox NewsFormer Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort lied to the FBI and Special Counsel Robert Mueller's office "on a variety of subject matters" since his plea deal earlier this year, thereby violating the agreement, Mueller said in a court filing submitted Monday night, while adding that Manafort claims he's been truthful.

Presumably, Mueller thinks Manafort is lying when Manafort says there was no Russian Collusion. Manafort claims he has been truthful.

It looks like someone is claiming Manafort met with Assange. Both Manafort and Assange deny it. My first guess would be that this is what Mueller was banking on and the sources come from his team. Mueller will be trying to keep the pressure on Manafort by claiming he lied, and thus being able to renege on the plea deal they had.

Little discussed fact: Assange knows who gave him the DNC emails that started all this. What if it wasn't the Russians? Then Mueller's whole investigation is revealed as a farce at best and a cover-up at worst. Assange could shatter the whole story if he was willing to reveal his source. Will he?
