The immigration fraud molehill

The HillA top Republican is pressuring the Obama administration to investigate thousands of immigrants who may have gained access to the United States under false pretenses.

In a letter sent Thursday to Attorney General Loretta Lynch, House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) complained of massive immigration fraud, to which he argued the Department of Justice (DOJ) had turned a blind eye.

"Massive" in this case means not quite 4000 cases of potential immigration fraud, which is a non-trivial number to be sure, but also quite a ways away from seriously addressing the issue. Still, you have to start somewhere.
