Prominent Democrats call for Clinton Foundation to shut down

The HillFormer Gov. Ed Rendell (D-Pa.) says the Clinton Foundation should be disbanded if Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is elected to the White House. “It’d be impossible to keep the foundation open without at least the appearance of a problem.” Rendell, who also served as a former chairman of the Democratic National Committee, said the Clinton Foundation would at the least need to go into a "period of inactivity" during Clinton's time in office if she is elected.

On Tuesday, the Boston Globe's editorial board also called for the Clinton Foundation to be shut down if the Democratic nominee wins the White House.

At this point, I'd like to remind everyone that when Hillary was serving as Secretary of State, she had signed an agreement to keep all Clinton Foundation activities separate from her government activities. That turned out to be very effective, didn't it?
