Media censorship

Reclaim The NetA fresh study into Twitter’s mass censorship of President Trump over the last couple of years has revealed that tweets from Trump and his campaign have been restricted a staggering 436 times between May 31, 2018 and December 7, 2020.

The study was conducted by media watchdog Media Research Center (MRC) and found that 111 of these censored tweets (around 25% of the total tweets) were flagged between November 30, 2020 and December 7, 2020.

How can an election be free and fair when criticism of it is censored, even from the President?

Youtube to begin banning accounts that contest the election results

PJMediaThe Trump legal team still has active challenges to the election results in several states. Mike Kelly et al. v. Pennsylvania, et al. and Texas v. Pennsylvania, et al. are two pending cases before the Supreme Court. There are many, many witnesses who have signed affidavits alleging voter fraud in various states.

But, according to YouTube, you don’t have a right to see that evidence or be told that fraud even occurred. Your ability to view content and make your own decision about the evidence is superseded by their desire to keep you in the dark about not just mere allegations, but evidence as well. Will YouTube not allow live streaming of hearings alleging ballot fraud too? Should the Supreme Court take up any of the current challenges, will any coverage related to those challenges be allowed on their platform?

There is an increasing air of desperation to their demands that we shut up.

Debunking the debunkers

The FederalistA Big Tech-backed “fact” “checking” outfit claimed to debunk explosive evidence in support of Republicans’ claims of significant election problems at a Thursday Georgia Senate hearing. It didn’t. Not even close.

Newly discovered security footage from Georgia’s State Farm Arena showed dozens of ballot counters, media, and Republican observers leaving en masse at the same time from the ballot-counting area for Fulton County. After they left, a small remnant of about four workers began pulling trunks containing thousands of ballots from underneath a table with a long tablecloth and running them through machines.

There are no excess deaths in 2020

Behind The BlackA new analysis of the 2020 death statistics in the United States has revealed that despite the panic over COVID-19, the total number of deaths in all age groups — including the elderly — showed no change before or after the arrival of the virus.

This bears repeating, in bold and italics: There have been no excess deaths in 2020.

It appears that either a) COVID killed everyone who would have died anyway, or b) a lot of people who died from normal causes had COVID incorrectly listed on their death certificate, or c) both.

UPDATE: Johns Hopkins took down the study. Not because it was wrong but because they didn't like that people noticed and shared it because it went against the narrative of covid terror.

12 best claims of voter fraud

Just The NewsWhile many Democrats and their allies in the traditional media argue there is no evidence of systemic voting irregularities in the Nov. 3 election, a mountain of evidence has been amassed in private lawsuits alleging there was, in fact, significant and widespread voting misconduct.

The question for the courts is whether the irregularities were widespread enough to impact the outcome or erase Joe Biden's lead in at least three of the six battleground states where results are being contested.

And while both President Trump's campaign and private entities like the Amistad Project are planning to file more lawsuits on Monday, Just the News reviewed the scores of filings and affidavits and declarations in the court cases.

Here are the 12 most compelling pieces of evidence presented to the courts as of Sunday night

Another example of Fox News turning to the left

Fox NewsJones made the remark online after retweeting a reporter from The Washington Post who shared a story by the Miami Herald about DeSantis backing “anti-mob” legislation that would bolster Florida’s Stand Your Ground Law. Unique to self-defense laws in other states, the statute does not require a person to retreat before using deadly force to prevent bodily harm to themselves or others or to prevent a felony.

The bolded portion above is a lie.

National Conference of State LegislaturesLaws in at least 25 states allow that there is no duty to retreat an attacker in any place in which one is lawfully present. (Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and West Virginia.) At least ten of those states include language stating one may “stand his or her ground.” (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.)

So why the blatantly false editorializing in your news article, Fox?

Biden advisor is comfortable using propaganda on his own citizens

ZerohedgeRichard Stengel, the top state media appointee for US President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team (namely, the official US Agency for Global Media), has enthusiastically defended the use of propaganda against Americans.

"My old job at the State Department was what people used to joke as the chief propagandist," Stengel said in 2018. "I’m not against propaganda. Every country does it, and they have to do it to their own population. And I don’t necessarily think it’s that awful."

As Americans, we are supposed to be better than that.

Between a rock and a hard place

Fox NewsPresidential historian Jon Meacham was reportedly let go as an MSNBC contributor after he apparently failed to disclose to the network that he was a speechwriter for President-elect Joe Biden, including the victory speech he gave on Saturday night.

Sources told The New York Times that Meacham had been "playing a larger role than was previously known" behind the scenes, "both writing drafts of speeches and offering edits on many of Mr. Biden’s big addresses, including one he gave at Gettysburg last month and his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention."

Biden campaign press secretary TJ Ducklo told the Times, “President-elect Joe Biden wrote the speech he delivered to the American people on Saturday night” but that "given the significance of the speech, he consulted a number of important, and diverse, voices as part of his writing process, as he often does.”

So. MSNBC employed a speechwriter for Joe Biden and didn't bother to mention it until after the election. Well, ok. We know they are biased, this is like calling out one specific turd in a dog park. We know there are turds there, why is this one special? Well, special enough to get stuffed into a plastic bag and thrown out, apparantly.

But I'm especially amused by the comments from the Biden campaign that Biden "wrote the speech he delivered."

Biden is famous for plagiarizing speeches.

And apparently this MSNBC employee got fired for writing the speech that Biden wrote himself.

Media suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story swung the election

PJMediaA Media Research Center (MRC) poll conducted by McLaughlin & Associates found that 36 percent of Biden voters were not aware of the evidence behind claims that Joe Biden was personally involved in his son Hunter’s business deals with China. Thirteen percent of those voters (4.6 percent of Biden’s total vote) said that if they had known the facts, they would not have voted for Biden.

Such a shift away from Biden would have given Trump the election, according to MRC’s analysis of the preliminary — and contested — election results predicting a Biden win. Had the Biden-China story seen the light of day, Trump would have won the election with 289 electoral votes.

Of course it did.

The problem is how to answer it.

Good news may be coming

American ThinkerSo today, I started to dig into the numbers, and as I did, I fought my confirmation bias at every step.

I realized that I, like millions of others, had been numbed into despondency by the overwhelming press, media, social media push to certify President-Elect Biden. (I put that in there so you can see how repellent it is.)

Hey guys, this thing is not only not over; it is scary for Biden. I mean really scary, and most of all, the media know it. Thus, the rush to get everyone in line with the narrative that a 78-year-old, early-dementia former V.P., who could not draw a crowd larger than a dozen, just beat D.J. in a fair election.

Process that for a moment.

This is what I have been hammering all along. Media calls mean nothing. We have a legal process to go through, and Trump still has multiple paths to victory. Yes, they depend on court challenges, but the most obvious of those is a relatively safe bet and already before the Supreme Court (PA).

So why the media blitz and the frantic censorship?

It's not aimed at We The People; we've voted. It's aimed at Trump and his advisors. It's designed to force a concession before the court battle.

Because they know their fraud will not stand up to a forensic audit of the results.

Maybe the lawsuits and audits and recounts can find enough to discern what the People actually voted for, and maybe not, but I think it is inevitable that they will find enough to tar a Biden presidency in a way that even massive censorship cannot cover up.

Trump's role is simple: Refuse to concede. Fight in court. Flip PA, and the media pressure drops as it is suddenly up in the air again.

It ain't over till the fat lady sings, and Hillary ain't even been arrested yet.

The media should not be projecting election results

The Epoch TimesMore or less unnoticed for decades, the media habit of “calling” elections—presidential or otherwise—is not only a betrayal of the democratic process, it has become a leading factor in a new form of post-modern fascism in which we are apparently living.

Saturday morning at 11:45AM, while President Trump was off playing golf, CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, the AP, and USA Today, virtually in unison as if operating on some sort of pre-arranged cue, all made the call for Joe Biden with Fox News joining them all of ten minutes later.

It was like Pravda and Izvestia working together for what they assured the Soviet public was their own good.

Just let the official process play out and stop playing with fire.

Did Trump lose an election lawsuit?

The FederalistLegacy media are lying when they claim that all of President Trump’s allegations of voter fraud are baseless. I know, because I argued a case on the president’s behalf in federal court in Philadelphia.

At issue was President Trump’s request for an order changing the way Pennsylvania absentee and mail-in ballots are being reviewed at the Philadelphia Convention Center. CNN and others claim he “lost.” That’s false: he won. As I made that argument on behalf of the president’s campaign, I can tell you what really happened.

Read the whole thing before you believe it when the media claims Trump "lost" a lawsuit.

Fact-checkers sued

Sara CarterBLEXIT founder Candace Owens is suing independent social media fact-checkers as she and other prominent conservative voices online continue to be censored, especially during a presidential election. The lawsuit names Facebook fact-checkers USA Today and Lead Stories Fact Checker, according to Fox News.

This is clever. Facebook, Twitter, etc, may be protected by section 230 for being (allegedly) platforms instead of publishers. But guess what? Those fact-checking orgs? They are not platforms, they are clearly making editorial decisions which Facebook has outsourced to them, and... they are liable for them.

Suing the fact-checkers seems like a viable line of attack, and those who have been unfairly censored should consider it.

If Trump finds himself with nothing to do on January 21st, filing some court paperwork might relieve the boredom.

Trump campaign files lawsuit challenging fraudulent ballots in Nevada

The Daily Wire“They’ve changed this election inside 90 days and as votes are being counted and America thinks that with all these mail-in ballots, that you think you have people watching that counting going on, we are still not allowed to watch the signature-matching,” Laxalt continued. “We are not allowed to challenge any of those signatures. So, they switch us to this new system, and they give us no right to be sure that only legal voters count. As America knows, those that stayed up like me all night — they dumped these at 3 a.m. They counted through the middle of the night.”

“They’re counting all day today,” Laxalt went on. “And we’re still having to wait until tomorrow. And we are still right at this second, not in that door. And I warned them about this — that if it came down to Nevada, we’d finally get people to pay attention to the fact that the Democrats didn’t give us this right, and a judge agreed that we weren’t entitled to this right. Of course, we disagreed with that, and we’re still fighting that. But just for your viewers, that has to be quite startling that almost 400,000 votes were cast last night, and there was no observation, no transparency. And you know, we’re supposed to just trust but not be able to verify.”

“There is no question that Donald Trump would have won Nevada last night convincingly if we did not move to mail-in ballots,” Laxalt asserted. “And again, we don’t know how bad voters there are in this giant stack. We also know there are likely to be dead voters. There are likely to be people that have moved out of Las Vegas but found their ballots were still cast. So we’re looking into all of this, but it’s just astounding when you watch the news commentary last night about this. They keep acting these systems are foolproof, and there’s no way that any improper voter can get through. And it is just simply not true.”

The Trump Campaign filed a lawsuit challenging those ballots. More information.

Twitter censors President Trump again

Just The NewsTwitter placed a notice on a tweet from President Trump and blocked platform users from certain engagements on the post on Monday.

The social media company blocked people from liking the tweet and leaving a comment. It also stopped people from retweeting the post, though it did allow people to retweet provided that they added their own comment when retweeting.

The Supreme Court decision on voting in Pennsylvania is a VERY dangerous one," Trump tweeted on Monday night. "It will allow rampant and unchecked cheating and will undermine our entire systems of laws. It will also induce violence in the streets. Something must be done!"

The Supreme Court's decision in PA was not final, but does allow for ballots without postmarks to be counted up to three days after the election and kept segregated pending a final decision.

This decision -- opposed by the three conservative justices and flipped by Roberts, with Barrett not yet participating -- means that election law decisions will not be made until after the election. The Supreme Court (led by Roberts) is punting the political football and hoping they are not required to make a decision, when instead they should be taking a clear stand before the election to avoid appearances of deciding the election politically after the people have voted.

Separately, Twitter should be ... ashamed is not strong enough. Twitter has abandoned all pretense of neutrality if a tweet as basic and correct as Trump's can be censored.

The Fake News of Fact-Checkers

One of the tactics used by the fact-checking variety of fake news organizations is a very carefully chosen choice of "facts" to check. Case in point: the claim that Biden gave a eulogy for a KKK "Grand Wizard". He didn't. The KKK official was an "exalted cyclops" instead.

But most people won't read beyond the headline that the fact check said it was false, and platforms like facebook will show only the headline verdict when they slap the fact-check label on the story.

Glenn Greenwald resigns over censorship from organization he founded

Glenn has been a pretty strong critic of both censorship and intelligence agency abuse. He co-founded The Intercept. Now he has resigned over censorship of negative information about Joe Biden.

Glenn GreenwaldThe final, precipitating cause is that The Intercept’s editors, in violation of my contractual right of editorial freedom, censored an article I wrote this week, refusing to publish it unless I remove all sections critical of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, the candidate vehemently supported by all New-York-based Intercept editors involved in this effort at suppression.

The censored article, based on recently revealed emails and witness testimony, raised critical questions about Biden’s conduct. Not content to simply prevent publication of this article at the media outlet I co-founded, these Intercept editors also demanded that I refrain from exercising a separate contractual right to publish this article with any other publication.

If you still believe modern journalism is trustworthy, read the whole thing.

Daily WireThe letter Lopez claimed he received read, in part: “Don’t waste your time trying to become anything in this county we will make sure you never win and your family suffers along with all the other f****** Mexicans in the area!” The letter ends by stating, “Sincerely, America!”

Lopez previously ran for a commissioner seat in Umatilla County but lost in the primary. He reported the letter to Hermiston Police, who investigated Lopez’s claims and determined that, yet again, someone who publicly claimed to be the victim of a hate crime was not, in fact, a victim.

KEPR-TV News reported Tuesday that police determined Lopez sent the letter to himself and that Lopez verbally and in a written statement admitted to fabricating the letter.

Star TribuneA photographer at the house Thursday morning appeared to stage a shot in the officer’s driveway by encouraging two people to spray “Kill Pig Cops” on the garage door, according to Jennifer Kennetz of St. Paul. She said the woman claimed to be a magazine photographer and tried to persuade Kennetz and others to pose for her near the home.

Kennetz said she later saw the photographer persuade a young couple to spray paint the garage door while recording it with her cellphone. Police confiscated the phone, Kennetz said, and an Oakdale police spokeswoman confirmed the incident was under investigation.

The media are not just lying to you, they are literally inciting people to violence. And then trying to lie to you about the violence not happening.

So just to be clear in how I characterize this: The reporter standing in front of a burning building describes it as "mostly a protest, not generally speaking unruly" while different reporters are egging people on to vandalize police buildings or bring pitchforks and torches to a Trump fundraiser.

Also, reality check: when you burn down someone's home or business, riot in their city, loot the stores they shop in, and then they hate you... that's not racism. That's cause and effect based on your actions.

Fake News

PJMediaSen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) asked if the companies were addressing "micro targeting to discourage voting," what he called "one of the most powerful tools in the propaganda arsenal" that has "certainly been used in the past with the Russians to discourage minority Americans from voting."

"So what are you doing to prohibit this micro targeting?" Wyden said. "I mean, what about ads that share false information about the date of the election or the location of a polling place or ads that tell people they can vote with a text message from their phone."

We've read about what "the Russians" did with their Facebook ads. It wasn't this. This is just Dem Senator Ron Wyden saying something to rile up his minority constituencies.

To be sure, there are jokes about that sort of thing all the time. They are obviously jokes and are not microtargeted to anyone, unless "anyone in earshot" counts as microtargeting.

But that is not what the Russians did, and what the Russians did did not change the outcome of the election, because it was absurdly ineffectual.

PJMedia (quoting Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey)"We didn't have enough communication going out in terms of what was seen and what was tweeted, and what people are falling in to," the Twitter boss elaborated. "...We need to meet people where they are, and if we determine that people are subject to any falsehoods or any manipulation of any sort, we do need to provide them the full context of that. And this is an area of improvement for us and something that we're going to be diligent to fix."

Well, I fixed the falsehoods in this Congressional hearing for you. Will you please direct everyone to my website so they can get the full context?

More seriously, it seems Twitter (along with the other social media giants) has decided to take a more... editorial stance on the content from its users. That stance invalidates the legal protections associated with being a common carrier type platform.
