Australia enforcing alcohol consumption limits AT HOME in lockdown

Gateway PunditAustralians in lockdown in New South Wales are having their alcohol deliveries monitored by the government’s NSW Health Agency, because science.

“Residents in apartment blocks locked-down by NSW Health are having their alcohol deliveries policed as part of a policy to limit the number of drinks being consumed each day,” NCA News Wire reported.

Government goons are rummaging through private mail deliveries, confiscating alcohol and telling Aussies they can only receive a ration of “six beers or pre-mixed drinks or one bottle of wine.”

This is insane.

Hospital too busy treating refugees to treat Americans

Daily WireAn influx of refugees is straining Northern Virginia to the point that native-born Americans are being turned away from a local hospital.

“A hospital near the Dulles Expo Center that federal officials designated as a go-to spot for medical treatment began running out of available beds, forcing the hospital to turn away non-Afghan patients who weren’t in need of critical care,” The Washington Post reported.

Proper planning could have easily solved this problem.

DC being fortified again

Just The NewsLaw enforcement officials in Washington, D.C., are increasing preparations – including the possible return of metal fencing around the U.S. Capitol complex – for the upcoming "Justice for J6" rally.

The planned Sept. 18 rally, being organized by former Trump campaign official Matthew Braynard, is aiming to support individuals charged for their participation in the Jan. 6 Capitol breach.

I expect that Antifa, BLM, and other leftist organizations will once more commit false-flag attacks to try to pin on honest folks.

And right on cue...

September 18th "rally" a setup?

Deep CaptureI have become aware of an impending rally in Washington, DC on September 18 in support of the prisoners languishing in Nancy’s Dungeon due to their activities on January 6. I question the wisdom of holding or participating in this rally...

One obvious reason to question the wisdom of this rally is that it could easily be a setup.

I agree with Bryne on this. I think it's a setup. I would avoid it. There's no reason to protest in DC about anything; no one there cares what you think. While I don't have any real evidence to say it's a deliberate setup and for all I know the organizers are honest... it just feels off.

Don't give the narrative engineers another Jan 6th event they can false-flag.

Biden withdraws anti-gun BATFE nominee

Just The NewsThe White House will withdraw its nomination of David Chipman to head up the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

The nominee, a former special agent at ATF and current gun control lobbyist, was scrutinized immediately upon his nomination for his publicly anti-firearm positions.

I suspect that the anti-gun crusaders just learned a painful lesson about how important the NRA is to gun rights. That is, not very, anymore. Our political power comes from our millions of motivated individuals, and the NRA ultimately does little more than point out problems. And frankly not very much of that, under Wayne lately.

Millions of gun owners have learned that large organizations and their leadership are susceptible to corruption. We've also learned to compensate for the failure by finding other sources of the information we need to make a difference.

Don't get me wrong, the NRA is an important organization, and it's currently threatened status is a shrewd political move by opponents. But the organization has been troubled for some time. We need to hope for the best -- a renewed, reinvigorated NRA -- while planning for the worst.

Democrats trying to make Medicare fail faster

Just The News"For the first time, we believe that Medicare should cover the cost of dental, hearing, and glasses," she said. "These are essentials, and we believe that seniors deserve to have Medicare cover these basic costs."

Senate Budget Committee Chairman Bernie Sanders argued that coverage of these services under Medicare is "overwhelmingly popular" with the public.

The Medicare trust fund, formally titled the Hospital Insurance Trust Fund, is currently projected to become insolvent by 2026.

In addition to expanding Medicare benefits, Democrats have also proposed universal pre-K, tuition-free community college, financial support for childcare and more new programs to expand the social safety net in the U.S. as part of the reconciliation package.

The Cloward-Piven strategy lives.

Dem/Clinton lawyer indicted by Durham for lying to FBI

MSNA federal grand jury on Thursday indicted attorney Michael Sussman on a charge of lying to the FBI during the 2016 campaign, marking the second prosecution brought by John Durham, the special counsel tapped by former President Trump to investigate the FBI's probe into Russian interference.

For some background on what this might mean. I will add that this is, not surprisingly, an effective whitewash for the FBI itself. One agent gets charged for falsifying documents to the court (and only because he was stupid enough to alter them and get caught), everyone else in government gets off scott free while pointing the finger at the people outside of government who "misled" them.

Durham should get his claws into whoever he can, but we all know the FBI themselves are the people who abused their power and tampered with an election, then conducted a running series of coup attempts on the elected president. They should not get away with it, but it seems like they are going to.

UPDATE: More optimistic analysis here.

Durham to seek indictment of Clinton lawyer?

Just The NewsSpecial counsel John Durham reportedly is seeking a grand jury indictment against Michael Sussmann, a cybersecurity lawyer at a Democratic-allied law firm that represented Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign.

According to the New York Times, the charge is said to be related to an alleged false statement to the FBI about a client's identity when Sussmann pushed now-debunked claims about secret communications between Russia’s Alfa Bank and the Trump Organization in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election.

Durham “has told the Justice Department that he will ask a grand jury to indict a prominent cybersecurity lawyer on a charge of making a false statement to the FBI,” the New York Times reported on Wednesday, citing “people familiar with the matter.”

We'll see what DOJ says about this request. Some commentators suggest an indictment of Sussmann would be a big deal that could threaten some very important figures in politics.

My take is less optimistic. While it would be nice if Durham has managed to collect enough evidence to indict a key figure (and thus to pressure him to testify against other key figures, potentially including the clients who hired him to present this hoax to the FBI), Durham still has to ask permission from Biden's DOJ to actually do anything. And both Barr and Durham have repeatedly disappointed the hopes for justice raised by media leaks.

So my policy remains no excitement until an indictment.

UPDATE: Well, I'll be damned... and maybe a little excited.

Sen Warren calls for Amazon to censor books

Red StateIf you were to make a proposal that a politician should go about calling to take down published works, the initial reaction from many would be to recoil and issue a rebuke. The concept of the government seeking to silence select individuals runs contrary to our core beliefs. Yet we have a politician currently calling to take that very action, and the response is so vacant that you have to wonder how far we as a nation have drifted.

Senator Elizabeth Warren has undertaken a cause against Amazon that should deliver a chill instantly, whether you have a Prime membership or not. In the tradition of her party always looking to leverage a crisis, Warren is targeting the monolithic retailer to take action and restrict access to products, in the name of pandemic protections. This does have a veil of propriety in that she mentions concerns with potential counterfeit medical supplies, but then she resorts to overreach as she also wants to restrict published works under the same guise of safety.

It's not about COVID. It's about control.

Report shows government education failure

Hot AirThe report confirms administrators at Augusta Fells improperly changed grades and pressured teachers to give students grades they did not earn. The internal investigation also found students were scheduled in classes that did not exist and/or that they did not attend, when they should have been withdrawn due to lack of attendance…

Ghost students attending ghost classes to capture inflated dollars. But no one cares about actually educating students. (Indoctrinating them, on the other hand...)

Australia goes to hell

Conservative TreehousePremier Gladys Berejiklian has announced that once the state achieves 70% double-vaccinated status, citizens within the region will be given some freedom from the lock-down situation. The details of the freedom will be announced later; however, only vaccinated people will be permitted to participate.

The announcement from NSW followed their release of the latest COVID stats showing eight people had died of “covid-related health issues” in the past 24 hours. Two men in their nineties, two people in their eighties and three people in their seventies, died in hospital. According to the Health Minister, all of them had “pre-existing medical issues and conditions.”

Following the nationwide standard, every citizen will be required to download their proof of vaccine into their personal “QR Code” on their phone. This digital identification will be scanned at the entrances of all businesses, offices, workplaces, and venues that require entry to participate in society. This process is called “check in”, and will be monitored by the national and state governing authority who will enforce protocols for tracking each individual citizen.

What's going down in Australia is really, really scary.

The Intercept exposes gain of function funding

The InterceptNewly released documents provide details of U.S.-funded research on several types of coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. The Intercept has obtained more than nine hundred pages of documents detailing the work of the EcoHealth Alliance, a U.S.-based health organization that used federal money to fund bat coronavirus research at the Chinese laboratory. The trove of documents includes two previously unpublished grant proposals that were funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as well as project updates relating to the EcoHealth Alliance’s research, which has been scrutinized amid increased interest in the origins of the pandemic.

Did you know that 26 of 27 people denying a Wuhan lab leak had ties to the Wuhan lab?

These have been a long time coming. We'll see if they pass, or if PA wants to remain willfully blind.

About the false-flag operation on Jan 6th...

Gateway PunditReeder was about to get a light sentence this week after telling the judge he is “not a Trump supporter” and because of this he demanded a light sentence. And he was about to get a very small sentence with an excellent plea deal because of this.

But then a video turned up before his sentencing of Robert Reeder attacking police on Jaunary 6th.

It turns out he was shouting at the crowd extremely violent rhetoric while loosely wearing a MAGA hat to make the real Trump supporters appear violent by association. Reeder was the typical Biden agitator who wanted to interrupt the Republican objections inside the Capitol. And he wanted to frame Trump supporters as violent insurrectionists.

For the record, there were Antifa gatherings at the various monuments on Jan. 6 that were organized by John Sullivan.

Disgusting. But to the Democrats, useful.

Australia goes to hell

Bayou Renaissance ManFor a great free democracy, Australia has sunk so far into the depths that one has to wonder whether freedom and democracy have any place in its future at all.

We should take note of what's happening in Australia, because the progressive left would love to make similar things happen over here. There's nothing they would like more than to turn America into a statist's wet dream, an Orwellian society in which everything is controlled, residents can do only what is explicitly permitted, and anything not explicitly permitted is automatically forbidden.

Conservative TreehousePeople wonder why they should be paying attention to what happens in Australia. Well, quite simply, if you can identify where the test facility is for technology to merge with totalitarian objectives, it becomes valuable to follow what they do – and then predict what the future might look like for you. Australia and New Zealand are testing the parameters of merging the objectives of the control state with technology and citizen compliance.

Bayou Renaissance ManSpecifically, the proposed fiscal 2022 budget would require banks and other financial institutions to report to the IRS on the deposits and withdrawals of all business and personal accounts with a balance of more than $600.

So, in other words, they want to know where you are at all times, and force you to do check-ins on demand, and know every single financial transaction you make in your whole life. It was barely a decade ago that Obama used the IRS to target his political opponents, and with his team in Biden's Whitehouse, it will happen all over again -- only infinitely worse.

Criminal investigations without legal authority

Just The NewsThe Commerce Department announced Friday it will eliminate a security unit found to have improperly started criminal investigations and collected information on hundreds of its employees and citizens, according to a news report.

The decision follows a nearly five-month internal review by top Commerce lawyers. They concluded the agency's Investigations and Threat Management Service, did not have "adequate legal authority" to pursue criminal probes, as it had been doing for 15 years, The Washington Post reports.

Will anyone be punished for this? Of course not.

Republicans told falsely they had already voted in CA recall election

Gateway PunditVoters were forced to fill out provisional ballots after they were told the computers showed they already cast their ballots.

Fake News to influence elections

Legal InsurrectionThe Los Angeles Times covered the racist egging attack on Republican gubernatorial candidate Larry Elder. One woman wore a gorilla mask.

The publication used a photo that makes it look like Elder is slapping a woman instead of a picture from the attack.

The headline made it sound like Elder had a part in the attack: “LAPD is investigating altercation at Venice homeless encampment.”

There's a recall election running in California. One of the candidates is Larry Elder, a well-known (for his radio talk show) black Republican. Recently, he was attacked by a (white) woman in a gorilla mask throwing eggs. (Surely the gorilla mask is indicative of racism?)

And the LA Times reports on the story with a picture of Elder touching a woman's face; not the same woman, it should be noted, who threw an egg at him. Anyone who reads the headline and sees the picture will assume Elder was slapping the innocent woman. They'll have no idea that it was Elder who was attacked.

And that is very obviously deliberate deception by the LA Times.

Australia is going to totalitarian hell pretty fast

Don SurberA reader wrote, "Don, I spoke with a buddy of mine in Melbourne on Sunday. Much worse than being reported in Victoria.

"He cannot go to work without a written consent to travel. If he does not have it on him A$10,000 fine.

"9.30 pm curfew for everyone. Similar fines for breaking.

"Pubs and restaurants all shut as you cannot visit. Businesses collapsing.

"They have vehicle registration plate recognition through out Aussie. State Police have scanners in their vehicles and if they pick up driving past someone who is not from that area they stop them and fine them.

"Suicides are up massively as are drug issues.

"He is now on 4 day week and that is pretty common. Many on 3 days.

"His son recently bought a home some distance from him and is on his own, a virtual prisoner in his own home as he cannot go anywhere and is going out of his mind as it has been months like that.

"He is trying to work out how to smuggle him across to stay with him and his wife. Isn’t that nuts!!

"Apparently the premier is an ex school teacher with no real life experience (with all due respect to teachers) and the talk on the streets is that the vast majority would prefer he no longer existed.

"And they confiscated all their weapons as you know.

"The ultimate police state and as I said to him who could have imagined Aussie plummeting to those depths in such a short period of time. It was one of the best places to emigrate to from SA for years and years.

"Think they won’t try that here?"

I've seen it argued that Australia and New Zealand are test beds for policies to control the populace. That seems more and more likely to be exactly what is going on.

Biden Admin evacuates 100K mystery Afghans

American MindThe regime has in any case already admitted that, of the roughly 111,600 Afghans (as compared to 5,400 American citizens) already evacuated, it has no idea who the vast majority of them are. Our masters tell us that we must save “allies” and “translators”—and then in the next breath admit that they’re indiscriminately taking anyone. People who act and speak this brazenly do so out of a deep reservoir of contempt and hatred. The message is “We can do and say whatever we want; we can lie and contradict ourselves within the same sentence, and there’s nothing you can do about it. In fact, if you object, or even notice, we will use our power to crush you.”

How many of this mystery Afghans are Taliban? Or worse?

Teenage boys more likely to face heart problems from vaccine than COVID

TelegraphTeenage boys are six times more likely to suffer from heart problems from the vaccine than be hospitalised from Covid-19, a major study has found
Children who face the highest risk of a “cardiac adverse event” are boys aged between 12 and 15 following two doses of a vaccine, according to new research from the US.

This is in the news (the UK news, mind you) the day after Biden announced a vaccine mandate for almost every working adult in the United States. "Working adult" does in fact include teenagers.

Election integrity on the ballot in Massachussetts?

Just The NewsThe Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office last week announced 16 proposed laws and one constitutional amendment that could appear on ballots statewide in 2022, including one that would require voters to show identification at polling places.

Currently, voters in Massachusetts do not have to provide identification, according to the Secretary of State website. They just have to give their address.

If this get on the ballot and passes, in MA... it could be big. It would be really hard to claim that voters don't support voter ID.

The campaign to deny medical care to the unvaccinated

Conservative Treehouse quoting Washington PostI’m going to come right out and say it: In situations where hospitals are overwhelmed and resources such as intensive care beds or ventilators are scarce, vaccinated patients should be given priority over those who have refused vaccination without a legitimate medical or religious reason.

This conflicts radically with accepted medical ethics, I recognize. And under ordinary circumstances, I agree with those rules.

Why is this so important that people are advocating to deny medical care over whether or not you let someone inject you with something?

Australia is testing this policy out already.
