Georgians For Gun Safety Calls Citizens' Attention To State House Bills 40 and 113

"We are very concerned about this proposed legislation," said Alice Johnson, Director of Georgians For Gun Safety. "Common sense and a need to improve public safety would indicate to most people that it is unwise to limit law enforcement when they suspect that firearms may be illegally maintained or transported in a vehicle. It's hard to believe that with all the other priorities in our state, including shrinking budgets, poor education, critical water issues and clogged transportation that some legislators would feel that an 'over the top' gun bill like this is a priority," she added.

Horror of horrors, the police might not find a weapon that hasn't been used to hurt anyone. It's shocking
