Who says the Democrats are the defenders of free speech?

From PoliTech (Saxe v Martin):
We disagree with the District Court's reasoning. There is no categorical "harassment exception" to the First Amendment's free speech clause. Moreover , the SCASD Policy prohibits a substantial amount of speech that would not constitute actionable harassment under either federal or state law.
The Left will likely attack this decision as being in favor of "harassment", "racism", and "sexism".  But the truth is simple.  We have the right to say things that may offend others, protected by the First Amendment, and the government has no power to infringe upon that -- even if the Left wants to institute a so-called "anti-harassment" policy in a school.
