Anti-gun bigots strike again

The New York Times has an article
about what happens when a gun-fearing wussie comes into possession of a
locked box filled with the same. It's not pretty. I'm not
sure what intellectual, entertainment, or cultural value this neurotic
tale of a man's phobic smashing of borrowed fear-objects is supposed to
have. But I do know one thing; this professional,
supposedly-responsible "journalist" is appealing to the politics of
irrational fear and pandering to the prejudices of his audience in
support of violent, if legal, behavior. How low that noble
profession has sunk! Or, perhaps it was never the pinnacle of objectivity it claimed in the first place... |
