For those who have been following this controversy, an activist in Washington State wants to post the personal information (legally obtained) of police officers and others on his website, as a means of ensuring accountability. The local government passed a law specifically prohibitting that action. This is a link to the ruling in that case, which is a summary judgement in favor of the plaintiff's free speech rights. |
