Florida universities using taxpayer money to oppose gun rights

Palm Beach Post via Sebastian“You, the taxpayers, are picking up the financial tab for these Chiefs to lobby against your constitutional rights – rights they were sworn to protect,” Hammer wrote in the alert posted on the group’s website.

Ten chiefs showed up – during work hours, in their uniforms, “with THEIR GUNS on their hips, to lobby against your Second Amendment rights,” Hammer wrote.

Emails provided to Hammer showed that the chiefs were not required to use vacation time to attend the hearing and that campus police budgets would cover travel expenses, Hammer wrote.

Doesn't surprise me. Remember, the other side habitually funds everything through the state. They are the party of the state.
