Canada has fallen. Putin has, evidently, taken what parts of Ukraine he desires. It appears things are about to get even more exciting. The WEF's Great Reset now stands revealed as yet another plan to take over the world, albeit one that has seen more success than most.
TX bar association investigates AG Paxton over voter fraud lawsuit
The claim is that allegations of voter fraud were "misleading and in bad faith". That strikes me as being more in the character of telling someone they aren't allowed to challenge the king than a serious objection, but the use of the bar association is designed to shut down the use of courts to address election fraud. Which, if successful, will just take away one more legal avenue for the people to use in seeking redress of grievances.
Pretty soon there will be no legal avenues at all.
There are other cases still alive. But the denial here of a clean, coherent case to address everything at once by a 7-2 vote is extremely disappointing. In reply I can only quote another judge:
The Supreme Court has just declared that it has no courage to oppose a blatant electoral theft. Where, now, do honest citizens go for relief from a government that has refused to provide for an honest election? When you remove all legal, peaceable remedies, when you silence the opposition so their voices go unheard, when you corrupt the elections such that the party of government always wins, what then is left to an honest man who will not bend the knee to a tyrant?
I wonder if these people will ever be caught and publicly identified? Watergate was a "third rate burglary" until the President got involved in trying to cover it up; so will there be any connections to the Democrat party found here?
We'll probably never know, because the media doesn't like to ask those questions, never mind look for answers.
Meanwhile, a security guard at a Washington DC Fox affiliate had to shoot someone breaking into their studio.
It seems like there are incidents of political violence almost daily now. Some days are quiet and some days have multiple incidents to make up for the quiet. What I almost never see are incidents of political violence from the right directed at the left. Sometimes, briefly, the media tries to paint a mass shooter as being politically motivated from the right, but closer examination invariably (so far) has shown they were just nuts with incomprehensible political ideologies.
This seems like a significant escalation from the usual. Assuming it's not simply a false flag, someone prepared an explosive device and placed it in a location where it could be found by the target, which was presumably the left-wing billionaire George Soros himself (it was found in his mailbox). The employee who found it was suspicious and NYPD detonated the device.
We see so many fake hate crime incidents and so few real ones from the right that I seriously question whether the situation is as it appears to be.
But if it is, we're a lot closer to a domestic civil war than we were yesterday.
If there are Democrats who do not endorse violence, it's time for them to start calling out both their colleagues and their leadership to make that clear.
I'll do my part. In my local neighborhood, people are complaining that their Beto signs are getting stolen or torn down. "Beto" is a stage name for Robert O'Rourke, a privileged white male who tried to flee the scene of his DUI and wants to impose gun control on Texas and everywhere else.
Republicans: Please stop stealing Beto signs. Allow your neighbors to exercise their free speech rights and support stupid candidates without becoming victims of theft or intimidation.
Democrats: Please stop trying to murder Republicans.
This sort of thing is far from uncommon. Republican signs on college campuses get vandalized regularly. Free speech and association are under definite threat these days. And yet Republicans (so far) keep winning elections. The discrepency is the result of a massive media propaganda campaign designed to keep ordinary people -- Republicans -- ashamed and in the closet politically. Search engines and social media are working other angles. This blog is my way of fighting that.
Unlike the usual examples, this guy appears to be on the right and is actually a gun owner. He says he was making fun of liberals. His friends seem to support that.
I'm posting this to note that the violence is escalating on both sides. Even if this guy wasn't serious (and since he was arrested without incident, I'm inclined to think that's the right take... but that doesn't necessarily mean he shouldn't face consequences for the threats), the constant actual violence and threats coming from the left are starting to get a response on the right. And that's a significant danger signal.
There do seem to be a lot of these ricin attacks, at least when you extend the timeframe. Sometimes years go by between attacks but they keep coming. It makes you wonder if the FBI is ever bothering to investigate.
The timing of the ricin attacks so far seems to involve domestic politic tensions of the left-wing variety. Putting Cruz in the hospital, or even just giving him a good scare, might be the one vote the left needs to stop Kavanaugh.. and why not go after the one Senator you hate the most, in that case?
When you dehumanize your political opponents and characterize their ideas as violence, some people are going to behave violently. I'm more and more convinced this isn't just considered acceptable to the left. More and more it seems to be the intended result.
Black Lives Matter now tracking down police officers at weddings
This whole thing where leftists track down people they don't like in their private and personal lives and harass them needs to stop. It needs to stop because it is going to get someone killed, probably by a complete stranger who read about some other complete stranger on the internet and got mad.
Attorney-Client privilege no longer a thing, I guess?
So Trump talks to his lawyer, Cohen, who records it for unknown reasons. Prosecutors with ties to Mueller then raid Cohen's office to get the recording in a clear violation of attorney-client privilege. The recording then somehow ends up in the hands of the New York Times, which prints a story on it because it embarrasses the President even if no payment ended up happening and nothing illegal was done.
This bullshit is going to continue until the Trump admin finds some way to push back against the people doing it.
Senate Majority Leader McConnell threatened by protestors
Just the latest of many incidents. I would say this is going to lead to violence, but it already has -- on a baseball diamond in DC, in Rand Paul's backyard.
Trump's announcement on Twitter was very positive about Pruitt and doesn't suggest Trump asked for the resignation. I think Pruitt really is fed up with the attacks and threats on his family. Which the left will likely read as blood in the water, and swarm on the remaining targets.
The people doing the stalking and harassment and threats and actual violence need to be jailed.
The Left needs to back the fuck off before they get people killed.
Considering in one of the links above the victim was likely carrying a gun, likely it will be the attacker who gets a few extra breathing holes, which is only appropriate. But I'd rather have a political debate than a political civil war.
It's funny how the targets of this sort of thing are almost always Republicans. (Giffords was an exception, but the man who killed her was just stark raving nuts).
They might have been able to resist once they got through the primaries, but the retirement of Kennedy will raise the stakes. They backed themselves into a corner with the various filibuster policies, and they are going to have to pay the price for that.
